The Elemental Explorer is the nomadic energy that calls us out into the wild places. It's the part of us that is curious and wants to explore life on a deeper level. For me, it is an honouring of that part of myself; when I embody the energy of the Elemental Explorer, I am moving with the elements around me, taking risks and travelling beyond held beliefs into remote and ancient places.

The process begins with a vision. I start to feel into the possibility of an energetic exchange, the deep emotional thread that will be brought to the surface through the movement. A location will present itself to me, the place where we will open connection through the landscape. There will be a clear image of the Vesture that will adorn me through this exchange - this is when the journey starts. I am wearing my intentions and allowing them to carry me forward. These adventures into the unknown are the fuel that ignites my creative expression.

Once I return from a journey, I take the footage and create work that expands the exploration. Films and photographic collages become a new access point for the experience - also acting as touchstones connecting back into the raw energy of the moment.

A symphony of ritual, reverie and movement

The landscape offers so much wisdom. Walking into the wild places, we can attune with our inner voice, feeling into the connection we share with all living things. There is a poetry in the exchange, a deep sense of belonging to everything.

This is a deck of cards for divination that is inspired by my travels and observations in the landscape. Each month a new card is posted on the Patreon Elemental Explorer Collective. The ideas is that together we will slowly build a whole deck, each month exploring a new concept with accompanying ritual to attune us deeper into the cards revelations.
